The outlet The Journalist: "Thomas wants to cherish the anonymous public communicators"

Public communication is part of the democratic conversation. More focus is needed on that, one of the founders of ProPublica said to the Danish magazine 'Journalisten,' The Journalist, in May.

Communication specialists in municipalities and ministries should receive greater appreciation for their work, and it should be an explicit strategic public communication task to contribute to strengthening our democracy.

Those were the main messages from one of ProPublica's founders, Thomas Dybro Lundorf, in the Danish magazine Journalisten in May.

"On a very tangible level, many public communicators are undertaking a significant societal task, and they deserve much more credit for that."

In the magazine, Thomas Dybro Lundorf argues to draw inspiration from - among others - the United Kingdom and the OECD, and to develop democratic standards for public communication and develop democracy in more ambitious directions.
